Refund Policy – Houz Fix

1. Cancellations (Before Appointment)

You can cancel any booking up to 24 hours before the appointment with a full refund. 

Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a call-out charge to cover engineer allocation. 

2. Refunds for Compliance Services

If the inspection was completed and the certificate was issued, the service is non-refundable. 

If we attend and cannot complete the certification due to issues at the property (no access, unsafe installations, missing keys), the call-out fee still applies. 

3. Refunds for Repairs

If the engineer attends and identifies the issue but you choose not to proceed with the repair, the diagnostic/call-out fee is non-refundable. 

If we fail to resolve a repair and the issue is directly due to our work, we will return free of charge. 

4. Emergency Callouts

Emergency call-out fees are non-refundable once an engineer has been dispatched. 

5. Workmanship Guarantee

All repair work comes with a 12-month labour guarantee. 

If a problem reappears due to our workmanship, we fix it at no cost. 

6. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 working days.
