1. What areas do you cover?
We cover all of London and Essex, including the full M25 corridor.
2. What services do you provide?
We handle property compliance, inspections, maintenance and emergency repairs.
This includes gas safety, EICR, EPC, PAT, boiler servicing, plumbing, heating, electrical and general maintenance.
3. Are your engineers certified?
Yes. All engineers are fully qualified and hold the required Gas Safe, NICEIC and other industry certifications.
4. How quickly can you attend an emergency?
Average response time is 2 to 4 hours, depending on location and traffic.
For urgent gas or electrical faults, we prioritise the call immediately.
5. Do you work with landlords and letting agents?
Yes. We manage single properties and full portfolios.
We also offer discounted compliance packages for bulk bookings.
6. Do you offer same-day appointments?
Yes, subject to availability. For compliance certificates, we usually arrange same day or next day.
7. Can you handle access with tenants?
Yes. We contact tenants directly and manage access on your behalf to save you time.
8. Do you provide reports and certificates digitally?
Yes. All certificates are emailed within 24 hours of the inspection.
9. Do you offer fixed prices?
Yes. Compliance packages are fixed and transparent.
Repairs are either fixed-price or hourly rate depending on the job.
10. Do you offer maintenance plans or long-term contracts?
Yes. We offer annual compliance bundles, portfolio management and maintenance plans for landlords and agents.
11. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept bank transfer, card payments and business invoices for agents and landlords.
12. Is Houz Fix insured?
Yes. We carry full public liability and employer’s liability insurance.
