These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Houz Fix. By booking with us, you agree to the terms below. 

1. Services Provided

We offer property compliance, certification, maintenance, emergency repairs, and related services across London and Essex. 

2. Bookings & Access

  • You must provide accurate property details. 
  • You must ensure safe access to the property. 
  • Missed appointments may be subject to a call-out fee. 

3. Pricing

  • Prices listed are based on standard residential properties. 
  • Larger or commercial properties may incur additional charges. 
  • Prices exclude VAT unless stated. 
  • Remedial work is quoted separately. 
  • Any urgent/emergency work is billed at the agreed hourly or fixed rate. 

4. Certificates & Reports

Certificates are issued after the engineer completes the inspection and payment is received. 

If a property fails, we will provide a quote for corrective work before issuing a pass certificate. 

5. Payments

  • Payments must be made before or immediately after the service. 
  • We accept card, bank transfer, or approved invoicing. 
  • Late payments may incur additional charges. 

6. Cancellations

  • Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment may incur a fee. 
  • Emergency call-out bookings cannot be cancelled once the engineer is dispatched. 

7. Liability

  • We are not responsible for pre-existing faults, hidden defects, or system failures outside our control. 
  • We do not cover consequential loss, such as rent loss or tenant claims. 
  • Engineers will not work on unsafe installations until made safe. 

8. Warranty

  • All work carries a standard workmanship warranty unless stated otherwise. 
  • Parts are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. 

9. Emergency Services

Emergency response times are subject to availability and traffic conditions. 

We do not guarantee arrival times for emergencies. 

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales
